Our Wedding

We met in the most unexpected way, through social media. Just two strangers scrolling through life, unaware that a simple message would turn into an answered prayer. Beginning in 2023 we talked off and on, always remaining friends. With life taking us in different directions we didn’t think we’d be where we are today. Until somehow.. a little over a year later, God gently led us back to each other!This time, it was different. The Lord placed a tug on both of our hearts to reach back out one more time. We had to step out the boat and step on faith, trusting in what He had written for us.From Colorado to Oklahoma, miles stretched between us, somehow our hearts felt closer than ever. Long conversations turned into late-night calls, and prayers turned into reality. What seemed like something that we thought would never happen for us, God was gracious enough to bless us with the opportunity. When we finally met in person for the first time, it felt like the world exhaled and left only peace around us in the end.On May 16th, 2024, we became official! Since then, we haven’t stopped choosing each other. We built our relationship across state lines, through Bible studies, movie nights over the phone, countless 7+ hour drives, and flights to see one another. Our relationship has been built on sacrifice. The strong foundation we have built will help us when the winds begin to blow. Distance tried to test us, but instead it strengthened us. It was something we had to go through. We didn’t just fall in love, we built love, from the ground up. And are still building that love today.We are thankful for this moment. Where we can continue building our relationship taking it to the next step. We are happy and filled with joy to share this moment with you. Through it all, God has been our foundation. He’s been guiding us, growing us, and reminding us that He is the center. And this is only the beginning of our story.
